I am so glad you're here.
Mt Mama Threads was created as an outlet for me as a new mama. I've sewn for years and decided to take the deep dive into the world of ecommerce in December of 2020.
In the fall of 2020, my husband and I found out we were expecting our first baby. As a full time grad student, I wanted to be as frugal as possible when it came to the many needs of a baby. I decided to put my sewing skills to work and make my own burp cloths. I spent weeks researching the best fabrics and patterns to use for our little one. After sharing my creations with friends and family, they convinced me to open up shop selling all my creations. I couldn't argue and opened up shop for my first launch December 18, 2020.
By January 2021, we learned we were having a girl (cue all the cute mommy and me outfits). I knew I'd eventually want to match our girl so I started sewing baby bows and matching mama headbands. From there, I took off.
Today, I still sew burp cloths but my primary focus has been headbands and scrunchies; including mommy and me options!
Every piece is still sewn by me. Most of my sewing happens when our daughter is sleeping and my husband is on shift (he usually works 48 hour shifts with our local fire department). Sewing is theraputic for me and a much needed outlet at the end of a long day of mommin' (I know you feel me). Every order supports my little family financially and supports me mentally. I am so grateful for each and every one of you.

FAQs
Where are your headbands made?
All our headbands and scrunchies are handsewn by me in Montana. Our fabrics are ordered from various small businesses in the USA.
The print I want is sold out, will it restock?
Many of our prints are limited runs and do not restock. However, we try to launch new prints every Tuesday 5pm MDT.
My order says it has shipped, but I don't see any movement. Is it lost?
Your order is most likely fine. Due to employee shortages the post office has seemed to have some delay. If it has been longer than a week without movement, please contact us at mtmamathreads@gmail.com
My order says delivered, but I did not receive my package. What do I do?
All orders have a USPS tracking number, if you still have not received your package after 3 days of it saying delivered please file a missing package report with USPS.
How should I wash my headbands?
You can wash your headband on a cold cycle in a washing machine. For best results and longevity of your headband, we suggest air drying.
How long does shipping take?
We process orders starting the next business day in the order they are received. Typically orders are out the door in a day or two, but please allow up to 7 days for an order to ship.
What is your return/exchange policy?
We do not accept returns or exchanges. All our headbands are final sale.
Do you ship internationally?
At this time we do not ship internationally.
